Adult Education

Trellus Adult Education

The adult education program, provides a wide range of courses to meet the needs of adult learners from all backgrounds. Our free programming includes both morning and evening English as a Second Language (ESL) classes in multiple modalities (in-person, virtual, and hybrid), three levels of community-based computer literacy classes, and U.S. Citizenship.

Passages Charter School is a K–8 elementary school located in Andersonville, serving families from West Ridge, Edgewater, and surrounding Chicago neighborhoods. Our diverse learning community brings together immigrant, refugee, and longtime neighborhood families, creating a rich environment where students learn from one another while building strong academic foundations.

Families choose Passages for its commitment to academic excellence, global perspectives, and whole-family support. Beyond the classroom, we provide comprehensive services that help families thrive, including English language classes, digital literacy programs, education and training opportunities, workforce development initiatives, and job placement support. By investing in both students and their families, we create pathways to educational success, economic opportunity, and long-term community well-being.
